The (Virtual) Wedge Of Portland 2020

Portland Creamery had the opportunity to participate in The Virtual Wedge 2020, a pandemic safe version of Portland’s premier annual cheese festival. While we mourned the loss of an opportunity to share cheese and wine with the familiar faces in our community, we also feel incredibly lucky to live in such a loyal and supportive community. Especially important when times get tough (2020), the community support and commitment to delicious, ethical, local products is heartening. Not only was the sell-out attendance a boon for our creamery, Portland Creamery was also immensely aided by the local Dairy and Nutrition council and the Oregon Cheese Guild, who helped create the below producer spotlight, and otherwise catapult us into an increasingly remote and digital world. Thank You to all of our customers, the ODNC, and the Oregon Cheese Guild who came together to make this all possible.
